What is the Brilliant Innovation Fellowship?

The Brilliant Innovation Fellowship is a 20-week program for students, recent alumni, researchers, and faculty at the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. During the fellowship, innovators will work to validate their ideas, build their Minimum Viable Products (MVP), and learn to pitch their businesses with confidence.

The top 30 eligible participants who complete the process will receive a $10,000 stipend to support the development of their start-up.

The program is delivered by the Brilliant Catalyst at Ontario Tech University, and funded by Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON).

Running from June to November, the Fellowship will primarily be delivered virtually with a few mandatory in-person dates.
